Steven Feldman, Site Head & Scientific Director, Laboratory of Cell and Gene Medicine (Stanford GMP Facility), oversees all aspects of Stanford’s academic GMP operations including process development, manufacturing, analytical methods development, quality control, and quality assurance. With expertise spanning cell therapies, gene therapies, and CRISPR-based T cell editing, Steven leads diverse development programs including CAR-T therapies, NK cell therapies, and transplant support services. His work focuses on process optimization, automation implementation, and tech transfer strategies to increase manufacturing throughput while supporting clinical translation from academic research to commercial partnerships and hospital-based cell therapy facilities.
