Astraveus
Astraveus is a Paris‑based life science company pioneering microfluidic, end‑to‑end cell therapy manufacturing through its Lakhesys™ Benchtop Cell Factory. Designed to miniaturize and automate complex bioprocesses, Lakhesys delivers faster, greener, and dramatically more cost‑efficient cell therapy production, achieving up to 100x development throughput with 10–20‑fold resource reduction. Astraveus recently demonstrated the world’s first fully automated CAR‑T cell manufacturing within a benchtop system, highlighting its potential to decentralize and scale access to advanced therapies. The company aims to make high‑quality cell therapies broadly accessible.
Since its early days, Astraveus has combined strong internal expertise with contributions from external partners. With the recent deployment of our latest functional Lakhesys prototype in our labs, we have now officially launched our Alpha Testing Program, marking the first phase of evaluation by external experts.
We recently welcomed the team of IPC Marseille, a leading cancer center and a recognized pioneer in point-of-care manufacturing of CAR-T and HSC therapies. In the coming weeks, one of our Lakhesys systems will be shipped and installed at NecstGen in Leiden, a high-caliber partner with deep expertise in CGT manufacturing and access to a world-class GMP facility.
More broadly, we are actively engaging with new partners to evaluate the Lakhesys Cell Factory and demonstrate the potential of our microfluidic-based platform.
